Meet the team
Here is a bit about the team we’ve built at Donelan Property Maintenance.
Anthony Donelan
It goes without saying that I’ve been here from the start! I started Donelan Property 8 years ago, but I haven’t always been in this industry. I always had an interest in property and construction. My dad was a carpenter, so I grew up around the industry. I started a joinery apprenticeship when I was 16. I had a short stint as a mortgage broker when I was 20. When I moved to England after travelling in Australia & New Zealand, I just needed a quick job, so got a job in sales, but left that to start Donelan Property as soon as we were able. Fast forward to now where we also have Donelan Property Maintenance!
There are no typical days in the day of a life of an MD! Most of my days are spent making sure that our team have everything they need to do their jobs and resolving any issues they might have. While also growing the business through networking, meetings with different suppliers, etc. But I wouldn’t change a single bit of it. I love running the business. The fact that every day is different keeps me on my toes. I love helping the team resolve any challenges they may have.
Jonny Rae
Jonny started at Donelan Property back in July 2020, he has worked in sourcing, lettings, and has since become the Ops Manager for Donelan Property Maintenance. Jonny was not previously from a property or maintenance background, but he knew it was where he wanted to be. When the opportunity at Donelan Property presented itself, he knew it was a no brainer.
A day in the life of an Operations Manager is never dull, it varies from sending out quotes to visiting our properties and checking for maintenance work. What Jonny loves most about his role is that no two days are ever the same!
Chelsea McAndrew
Chelsea brings over 10 years of experience in the maintenance industry. Her interest in maintenance was sparked by a childhood memory of watching her nan assemble bikes. Now a valued member of our maintenance team, Chelsea’s passion for putting things together drives her work ethic.
A typical day involves heading to various job sites where she ensures each task is completed to the highest standard. For Chelsea, the most rewarding aspect of her job is seeing the transformation of a client’s space, knowing she has enhanced it for their enjoyment.
Mark O’Keefe
Mark joined Donelan Property Maintenance in March 2024, bringing with him over 23 years of experience in the maintenance industry. He has a background of hands-on work as well as experience in a similar role - so Mark seamlessly transitioned into his current full-time position as Maintenance Coordinator.
A typical day involves overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring they have all they need for the day, and liaising with clients to ensure their satisfaction. He spends time advising potential clients on the solutions Donelan Property Maintenance can offer, conducting site visits, and addressing any other needs that arise. Mark likes that his role means helping both the team and clients.
Ernie Williamson
Ernie joined Donelan Property Maintenance in July 2024 with him nearly 30 years of experience in the maintenance industry. He’s got a long-standing background in hands-on repair work which means no challenge is too difficult for him as a Maintenance Engineer!
Ernie fill his days with tasks that can range from fixing leaks and replacing damaged toilets to undertaking full refurbishments of properties. What he enjoys most about his role is the diversity it offers—meeting new people, tackling different types of repairs, and especially working on older properties. Ernie takes pride in his ability to fix issues the first time around, helping to keep Donelan Property Maintenance's housing stock in excellent condition.
